@RitchieTorres Each U.S. territory should have 1 electoral vote for president. They currently elect a delegate to the House, but these delegates should be full voting members of Congress. Beyond, that, territories need to garner statehood to have 2 senators and reps. apportioned by population.

Arab citizens of Israel enjoy the same legal rights as Jewish citizens. By contrast, the three million U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico are denied the right to vote in federal elections and lack equal representation in the House, the Senate, and the Electoral College. Yet the far left never accuses the United States of apartheid—and often defends a status quo that systematically denies Puerto Rico legal and political equality. Their criticism of Israel is not principled; it’s propagandistic.

@NobleNegroe I’ll reserve judgment on this ruling until I see what happens but it’s true that no historical civil rights leader like MLK, Booker T. Washington, Thurgood Marshall or W.E.B. Du Bois argued for racial quotas, only for a level playing field. Me, I’ll wait until I see what happens.

I love my country with all my heart and I've never been more embarrassed for America than the spectacle I just witnessed in the Oval Office. Zelensky is fighting for the survival of his country, his people and their democracy. Trump and Vance appear to be completely aligned with Putin, the invader whose aim has been to conquer Ukraine. Zelensky should know that millions and millions of Americans still stand with him and his valiant people.
