Great finish from Wirtz but I'm even happier with Mo Salah. If he can get back to his mindset of last season (an assist is as good as a goal) then he'll be such an asset again.

These injuries are nothing short of a cruise. It's absolutely ridiculous that the league don't allow you to sign players mid season. Even a small 'window' in January would allow clubs to solve these problems!

Said it before, I'll say it again... The lack of leadership in this team is a concern and Andy Robertson is so valuable for just that reason. I expect us to improve with him on the pitch. Selling him would be wild....

Slot had an opportunity to bury the hatchet tonight. We've no Gakpo or Chiesa and he could have been the bigger person and put the team first. Instead, he's worried about his own pride and image, rather than what's best for the team. If Salah plays and does well, everyone wins

If he plays poorly though then Slot can hook him and make a point. Embarrassing state of affairs, he's playing a top European team while we're struggling to qualify and is putting politics first...

@LeLeLeLeeroy My point is, there's no reward or consequences for pressing or not. It's not a priority. Liverpool were so dangerous for so long because we'd create so many chances from turnovers. Doesn't happen anymore either because they're not physically able or they're told not to run.

@LeLeLeLeeroy Absolutely it's going to affect the lads but you can't keep picking guys that are struggling (not just Mo). Mac was finally benched last night and Jones ran a lot more. Gakpo runs less than Mo while Rio and Chiesa watch on. Isak over Ekitike every week? Szob pushed out wide?

The physical shape that Klopp had Liverpool in was beyond anyone else. Slot was playing on easy mode when he came in. He hasn't prioritised fitness the though and that's why we've seen a constant drop off since March (not the summer). from everyone. Could take months to restore
