@HebHammer94 You could look at it as the Pats are officially in rebuild year 2, and less likely to bitch their off-season like The Sox have. And as far as being a Boston fan, not one of our teams this year is a losing team with all contenders. If Bres gets real, he can still salvage it.

@gingersnaphyde And you're likely looking at a 400th time here in the near future. They have to overpay with prospects if they want to prospect trade, but if they want the kind of player we all want, they'll have to give a major league talent as well in the trade. I don't see it.

With Duran as the chip, you would at least be gaining some pop. Abreu healthy is a 25-30 HR hitter. Duran healthy has been a 15-20 HR hitter. Parades 20-30

@gingersnaphyde If he's meeting with Philly and has a chance to play for Don Mattingly---I'd say very unrealistic. You know Boston is going to be getting hit with pie in the face for letting Breggy walk. There's nothing they can do that's available that can alleviate this.

Idk if Bo Bichette is even realistic for the Red Sox. Based off their activity in FA the last few years, it’s definitely questionable at least. However, Bo has hit .329 with a .907 OPS plus 6 HR over 35 career games at Fenway. He’s also under 30 which they prefer for contracts.

Craig Breslow and co do think they are so much smarter than everyone else in the room. That smarmy, exec type arrogance is going to lead Boston back to the early 90's sooner than early 2000's. #SelltheSox
