Pretty overwhelming day @healthsguardJsy in #Jersey in a good way. Our keynote was on point with loads of positive feedback and learning outcomes for attendees and stuff to think about. Only thing that could of been improved for the #safeguarding conference would of been If the minister for children and education Inna Gardiner and the minister for health and social services Deputy Karen Wilson from @GovJersey had of been ther. Massive outcomes for people come from collaboration when #LivedExperience passionate professionals and #Ministers worlds collide. Hopefully get to meet them in the future amd share our ideas for change. I look forward to seeing the flag ship work @SarahWhitmarsh5 is going to do with her team. Big shout to @dez_holmes The mummy of all things #Transactionalsafeguarding great ro be on the same stage as her. Good to also meet an officer from @JerseyPolice Who clearly cares as well about kids. Also shout to @JerseySPB hope to work with you in the future. Such an emotional week in work. So proud of the work that has been and continues to be done by all those involved. It’s been an honour to have done what I can to help those affected.

@jerseyruddy I told my Boss today “I will be in at 10 cos I am going for a paddle first thing tomorrow AM”!!! (That is my RnR!) He was like “Yep, see you then”!!! Self-care is important to maintain the capability to care for others.

@ANDYDB7 @MarkCollar There’s a lot of work going on throughout GoJ and the police. Lots of different areas that we’re working on such as Menopause, Sexual Orientation, Gender Reassignment, Race, Religion, Neurodiversity… making small steps but each one is making GoJ a more diverse & inclusive place

@MarkCollar @DS_PPU Can you please explain specifically what has been achieved for diversity and inclusion. In the police? Across the States?
