Remember Dan Price...that CEO who took a pay cut so he could pay all his employees a minimum annual wage of $70,000? Here’s what happened next: “Six years later after the decision that others said would destroy his business, Dan reports that revenue has tripled, the customer base has doubled, 70% of his employees have paid down debt, many bought homes for the first time, 401(k) contributions grew by 155% and turnover dropped in half. His business is now a Harvard Business School case study.” In his own words: “6 years ago today I raised my company's min annual salary to $70k. Fox News called me a socialist whose employees would be on bread lines. Since then our revenue tripled, we're a Harvard Business School case study & our employees had a 10x boom in homes bought. Always invest in people.” Courtesy of Craig Henley

Reform Party UK Exposed 🇬🇧
Tony Glover (@TonyLiberator) is Reform UK's candidate for Vauxhall, Lambeth. We have a question for you Tony - in 1996, were you a Tory Councillor in Hammersmith and Fulham (Town Ward)? The one that resigned because of allegations of Benefit Fraud.

I notice that Jeremy Vine covered my story this morning about the Reform UK prize fix. He had Anne Widdecombe on and asked her about it in a joking fashion, and Anne was comfortably allowed to bat it away as a conspiracy, despite being shown the picture I found of her and Raymond Dibble together. I suppose I should be grateful for a name check, he called me 'critics on the internet'. 😂 Surely, that's slightly disparaging to Byline Times, who ran it on their front page for four days. But it's just another Reform UK day whereby they fix a competition in an election period, and have it laughed off by our media. I've published the piece as an 𝕏 Article now as well so you tell me. Does this not stink? Article Link: x.com/donmcgowan/sta…

@James5555883379 @reformparty_uk So we are happy to ban political views now. Remember folks, the "free speech" advocates only want it when it isn't debilitating to themselves. Shysters, grifters and charlatans.

A retired lawyer in the U.S. was watching the news when he saw the story about the new Trump commemorative coin and something immediately didn't sit right with him. So he did what lawyers do. He went digging... And he found it. A federal law passed in 1866 that explicitly prohibits living people from appearing on U.S. currency. It's not a grey area. It's not open to interpretation. It's been sitting in the books for over 150 years. The last time this actually happened was 1926 when a coin featuring Calvin Coolidge was minted while he was still alive and serving as president. The backlash was immediate. The coins were pulled. And the law was reaffirmed... Now this retired lawyer has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Mint not because of who is on the coin, but because the law says it simply cannot be done. Full stop... No political agenda. No protest. Just one guy, a dusty legal statute, and a federal case that nobody in Washington apparently saw coming

@LauraTrottMP Odd isn't it your leader didn't know what the system was when asked this morning. You are just jumping on another bandwagon and as you have no credibility just move along.

@LauraTrottMP Was this during the pandemic when your government partied while people fucking died? Or while you ignored the 20 recommendations of the 7 year inquiry into child sexual abuse leaving them to suffer?

@LauraTrottMP You evidently don’t know the process because vetting is ordinarily done AFTER appointment. As confirmed by the then Cabinet Secretary to the Select Committee last November.

JUST IN: A federal judge again ruled that Donald Trump’s plan to build a White House ballroom without congressional approval is unlawful, rejecting claims it was needed for national security and saying his earlier order already required construction to stop. In a 10-page order, U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, appointed by George W. Bush, clarified that the ban applies to “above-ground construction of the planned ballroom” but allows “below-ground construction of national security facilities,” criticizing the administration’s “brazen” and “disingenuous” interpretation of his prior ruling.
