Islamophobia and antisemitism are some of the most common underlying causes of hate crimes. I guess you can always count on Reform to side with criminals.

There is only one reason why a blog, paper or channel would coordinate attacks with Farage: they are now part of the mafia trying to take over number 10 to profiteer out of what would be the British equivalent of Trump grifting.

I make no defence of Labour (obviously). But back to the original story. REITs are designed to avoid double taxation: shareholders pay tax on profits, not the company. In Tice’s case, his firm qualified as a REIT thanks to a loophole — so no corporation tax for three years even though it didn’t meet the conditions at any point. But it was also structured in such a way that its shareholders — among them three dormant companies, a pension vehicle and an offshore — largely paid nil tax. So most profits were possibly very elegantly, possibly very aggressive, depending on your perspective, exempted from tax. That is what our article reported.
