Google Maps cost killed my first startup If your business is not making money in US dollars, then it doesn’t make sense to have the maps feature We were spending more on the maps api than we we made from our food vendors I totally understand and support Chowdecks decision 👍

@heyOnuoha One way around this is to make maps an optional paid add-on. Vendors who want live rider tracking can subscribe to it, while everyone else uses the basic service. That way the API cost scales with demand instead of eating into the core business.
