Rather than chairing yet another COBRA meeting tomorrow, the Prime Minister should cut energy bills, get Britain drilling, and axe the tax rises. Here’s my letter to Keir Starmer👇

So it's tragic that the Government is now undermining the changes we made and slamming the brakes on the Free Schools programme. The House of Lords will be debating the changes this week - we should tell the Government to think again. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/02/0…

I'm very proud of the school reforms we put in place after 2010, building on good work by Tony Blair that we had supported in Opposition. And then, with Free Schools, we went much further. The results are in and their success is clear.

We now live in an age where for astonishingly little effort you can prompt AI to make the late Queen sing Queen. What a time to be alive.

Why hasn’t Keir Starmer spoken to the US administration about the situation in Venezuela and the removal of Nicolas Maduro? He’s obviously completely blindsided by this and appears no better informed than anyone else on X. Embarrassingly out of the loop for a world leader.

If David Lammy’s plan to slash jury trials was about solving the court backlog, his measures would be temporary. But they’re permanent. This Government doesn’t trust ordinary people.

It was the 14th of June when Starmer announced an inquiry in the Pakistani rape gangs. 14th of June. It's now December. Speechless. But please remember that these rapes continue now. This is not history. It's happening now, today. All over the country. Delaying the national inquiry is enabling this. And from what I understand, there has been almost no progress behind the scenes... That's not to say it isn't a challenge to get it moving, but it can be done. We're doing it, through our independent rape gang inquiry, with hearings starting in early February. On a tight budget, with incredibly limited resources, and obviously lacking the power of the British state. I want to reiterate our offer - we will help the national inquiry however we can. We have gathered a vast amount of evidence and data, with information from across the country. Nobody from Government has spoken to our inquiry. Jess Phillips agreed to meet, but we haven't heard anything since. I have officially offered help, and will do so again. I am really uninterested in the point-scoring politics of all of this. I am desperate for the national inquiry to get moving and make any sort of positive impact.
