Which words or expressions have your parents and grandparents passed on to you? My mum still calls me a ‘contrary Mary’ and often references her ‘giddy aunt’, while my gran loved telling me she ‘couldn’t give a tinker’s cuss’. How about yours?

Day 2: playing for Eucharist at the Anglican Cathedral in the morning - I was playing on the only real pipe organ in Zambia & the only organ I know of which features a rear view mirror from a car!! Followed by the most gorgeous afternoon duetting with friends old & new ❤️

Home after a glorious couple of days playing @SalisburyCath. I find it really exciting that about 1/10 of the audience were social media followers, many of whom hadn’t been to an organ recital before! Yay for the power of the internet ❤️

Today I completed my first marathon. Every week I talk about character values to our students. I think I used every single one of them to complete this.

This is horrific and is only going to make it harder to achieve equality of opportunity. To read that music is not ‘among its strategic priorities’ is absolutely sickening. When will they see that the arts are integral to our society? #WeAreViable

Yet again this Govt fails to understand the power of music to hold us together and as a successful business and career.
