@conservfam7 You need to raise your hands upward & utter a thank you to God, b/c so many thousands of others are not in your comfort zone. My 21 yr old grandson from South GA is up north helping restore power to thousands. We all need to remember, meteorologists are not God!

Well the winter storm that was supposed to dump up to a foot of snow and ice didn’t really happen here in East Tennessee we got about 1/2” snow that quickly melted as temperatures have moved up to 44 degrees currently all it is a little rain now!

@Sassafrass_84 Yes, most definetly. My 21 year old grandson is working out in it with an EMC crew that left south GA to go help restore power in those hard hit areas. I think how in the south we aren't accustomed to this kind of weather. I think of all the dangers out there. Prayers for all!

Many of us will be able to stay indoors, warm, and safe from the cold. For linemen, however, this is when their work becomes most demanding. When power lines fail and temperatures drop, they head out into dangerous conditions, often at night, knowing that communities are depending on them.
Their job requires not only skill but endurance and courage. Strong winds, ice, snow, and freezing rain make every task more hazardous, and long hours add to the physical and mental strain. Each climb, each repair, and each decision carries risk, yet they continue because homes, hospitals, and families need electricity to stay safe during winter storms.
So, the prayers are sincere and necessary. Prayers for safety, strength, and protection as they work through this severe winter weather. May they remain alert, avoid harm, and return home safely when the job is done. Their quiet dedication during these storms is something that deserves respect and gratitude.
I have been through hurricanes. I know how hard it is. Please pray up for all of the linecrew family. Everybody who has a significant role in getting power back on for others.

@EDSecMcMahon @GovTimWalz It's not just the large cities with questionable buisnesses/ storefronts. Our small town seems to be filled with empty storefronts that are unavailable to rent because they have been rented for a "museum"! I fear this is a lot more widespread than we think.
