@DWUDatabase The Daleks which of course is where it all really took off.
Demons is okay in the context of a mediocre season but it could have been better if it had been a purely historical
@DWUDatabase The Sea Devils is top tier Pertwee. And its a huge story for me personally, I remember seeing it on repeat in the early 90s just as dad retired from the RN.
@DWUDatabase This poll is blowing hot & cold with the options.
I'm surprised no-one has noticed the contrast yet.
Anyhow, a there's a core upsurge from Nu Who fans, Inferno looks certain to erupt as the clear winner.
@DWUDatabase I am surprised that the, ‘Twin Dilemma’ is still here. I felt sorry for Colin Baker who had this as his first story and then he had to wait for the next series to get anything better.
@DWUDatabase An interesting match-up, given neither of these Doctors is very likeable on their debut! In any case, for me an easy win for AUC, even though I don't think Twin Dilemma is as bad as it is often painted.
I think Twin Dilemma would probably have a better reputation if it has been a season opener rather than a season finale. Giving that version of the 6th Doctor then going off air for months seems an odd choice. If they have continued on the next week might have gone down better at the time
@DWUDatabase@Heraldofcreatio An Unearthly Child had a great first episode, and okish 3 more episodes.
Despite complaints, The Twin Dilemma is a great story, and one of the riskiest things they did with the Doctor going insane due to the trauma of the regeneration and struggling to find his way.
@Tales_TimeLord It is fine until the very end. All I can think of watching it is if Rose can look into the vortex and gain the power to destroy all of the Daleks including the Emperor then why did none of the Time Lords ever think to do that. Could have been a very short Time War...
