Even if we have opposing views, it doesn't mean we don't have the same objectives in life. Be kind.

@gregrcox Babe was also one of the best feel good family films ever to be made. Making a fantastic children's film is a talent not to be taken for granted

@FailedCrickt I remember watching that. The LBW wasn't out I think & the umpire's finger went up so quickly it was almost like a reaction rather than a considered decision

They don’t make haircuts like this anymore, but, then, perhaps they don’t make cricketers like Ray Illingworth anymore either. Illimgworth led England to an Ashes victory in Australia in 1970-71, and then retained the urn at home in 1972. A tough Yorkshireman and an all-rounder, Illingworth was known to be an excellent man-manager who could get the best out of even the most difficult characters. Success came not only with England but, in exile from Yorkshire, in county cricket with Leicestershire, where as captain in the early 70s he turned an over-relaxed, unambitious side into a trophy-winning outfit. Do you have any memories of him?

@DWUDatabase The Daleks which of course is where it all really took off. Demons is okay in the context of a mediocre season but it could have been better if it had been a purely historical

With the County Championship now less than TWO WEEKS away, is anyone prepared to nail their colours to the mast and give their prediction about who’s winning it this year? Actually, let’s make it more difficult. Which teams are going to finish at 1, 2 and 3 in the table?

@RebecTV I 100% agree with you on this. I was happy with something grand & special in Day of the Doctor, for a special occasion that celebrated the past with affection whilst introducing something new. But Timeless Child remains maddening to me for its 'chosen one' reframing of the Doctor

The Ambassadors of Death first aired 56 years ago OTD in 1970. With its complex story, big action set-pieces, and iconic alien ambassadors this great Season Seven adventure continued to establish the 3rd Doctor's new era along with UNIT and the new earthbound setting. #DoctorWho

I always find it very strange when ‘a top ten’ of David Bowie songs doesn’t include lesser known tracks. For example, Win, Sweet Thing, Five Years, Dollar Days, I’m Deranged, Bewlay Bros, Panic In Detroit, Stay, You’ve Been Around etc. Anyone agree with the top 10 on this video?
