@Gab_H_R It is THE metric, it has already dropped due to people dying (younger than they should have) during the acute phase.. But when people will realise it keeps dropping despite big wave of infection and death being over, it will remind us how the world was wrong to take Covid lightly

England is now just a tiny further rise away from losing Low Incidence of TB status. Remember: In 2022, there were people who said that Covid couldn't be causing immune dysfunction, because TB levels were static. LOOK AT THEM NOW.

Think I'm gonna start one of those predictive market thingies: 1) all viruses can transmit by aerosols 2) most viruses (if not all) cause contagious infection on a spectrum from asymptomatic to severe. 3) most viruses cause long-term harm (see 💡 vaxxes ⬇️ dementia, etc)

Cette crise montre bien l’absence totale de coordination sanitaire à l’échelle mondiale. Une épidémie limitée à un bateau de croisière aurait pu être gérée de manière sécurisée sur place, avec des moyens adaptés. Au lieu de cela, elle est dispersée à travers le monde. #Hantavirus

People are just not going to be able to get their heads round the slow incubation period of hantavirus. On reflection, thousands of people have probably already been exposed, and those thousands could expose tens, even hundreds, of thousands more.

4/ TESTING The WHO confirmed that the hantavirus tests can only detect the viral RNA in a SYMPTOMATIC patient, from the first day of symptoms. To clarify: this means someone infected will test NEGATIVE for the entire duration of the incubation period until onset of symptoms.

Il 1° aprile i due coniugi anziani si sono imbarcati sulla nave da crociera Hondius a conclusione di un viaggio tra Cile, Uruguay e Argentina (zona endemica del ceppo)

The hantavirus ship is currently en route to Tenerife. On arrival, asymptomatic passengers & crew will disembark & be sent home, despite possibly being infected & in the incubation period. The 146 people on board are from 23 different countries. This seems like a BAD idea 😬
