A 100-million passenger mega airport to be built by Ethiopian Airlines (ET) at a low altitude location in Bishoftu, 30 miles from #Ethiopia’s capita Addis Abeba. Via: @AviationWeek #Kenya #Nigeria #SouthAfrica The $6 billion airport will be amongst the 10 largest in the world and replace ET’s current global hub Bole airport (ADD), which was expanded just four years ago to handle up-to 25 million but in the next few years it will far exceed its capacity due to ET’s significant rapid growth.
