@JuergenStrobel yeah you could use that convention but in bitcoin we don't tend to. you're right it's not really addition nor multiplication - it's a secret third thing.
@D_plus__plus You could use the convention of multiplicative groups too, in which case it's P = G^k.
The group operation really is neither addition nor multiplication as we usually know it, it doesn't matter much which shorthand we use to represent repeated execution.
ECDLP isn't a log problem it's a division problem. the name is just a diffie-hellman hand-me-down. on a curve you're asking "what scalar k satisfies P = kG" which is P/G which is undefined which is why your coins are safe. log base what. log base whomst.
@robin_linus This reminds me of when I asked Bitcoin Twitter, “I know how to multiply points in ECC but can anyone show me how to divide? 🤔”
No one got the joke so I deleted it. 😭
To my partner in crime, @D_plus__plus - you are the coolest, smartest, hottest, most TALENTED human - and I am so incredibly honored that you brought me into your Mario Kart world.
You are so passionate about bitcoin education and you're the only person in the space making it THIS fun.
Everything you do is so selfless and you've put an enormous amount of work into making this game a reality.
You've allowed me to be so creative and you're always such a huge champion of my work as a designer. Love you girl! 🫶
Thank you @TheBitcoinConf for having us on the Nakamoto stage this week! ⚡️
@D_plus__plus and I have brought Bitcoin-powered Mario Kart to conferences and events all over the world, but we’ve never been on a stage THIS BIG!
Congratulations to the winner @thatsauchward who took home over 2.7M sats straight to this @evento_so wallet ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
And I finally had an excuse to design a real fireproof racing suit for the both of us 😆💃
@chadidbarnero@WizardLab123 I made this early 2025. A lot has changed since then. At the time of making it, there wasn’t a way to do it with ai. I’d be curious to know if it’s possible now.
In case you didn’t know, I hacked Mario Kart to pay out bitcoin, streaming in real time to your Lightning wallet from my nodes.
I manually reverse engineered the game’s live RAM without the help of AI. Then I wrote all the code myself the old way, by hand.
Anyway, we’ll be playing all day, both days at @TheBitcoinConf. Find me and @briimhd at the main entrance in front of the Expo hall.
The top 4 players will then go on to compete on the main stage at the end of day two to win bitcoin, prizes, and bragging rights. 🫡🏆
That’s just not true. Those funds are not there to support my work, rather they’re an attempt to entice me to participate in a pump and dump scheme.
If you really wanted to support my work, you’d play my games, bring them to your community, and donate to my Lightning/BIP 353 address me@dplus.plus.
But you don’t. You want to trade speculative shitcoins and then dump them on a greater fool.
Hey D++, I understand and respect what you’re saying, but this is just donations/support meant for you. It would be a shame to let the funds sit in limbo, locked in the smart contract forever. Whether you get them or not doesn’t mean you endorse anything those funds were directed to you for your work, and they’re yours.
To the web3 ppl who are trying to get me to claim a token or “GitHub developer fees,” if you stick around & get to know me, you’ll understand I am the last person on the planet to do this. I hope you’ll play my games though and see the power of bitcoin and the Lightning network!
@BitcoinHobbyist i know... the demo's streaming from phoenixd (so i can pay to BIP 353 addresses) where i don't really get to control the fees. the game also supports LND though, making the fees negligible, but the tradeoff is no BOLT 12 support unless you run LNDK, which i've never tried...
@WizardLab123 I didn’t use ai because it couldn’t figure out how to reverse engineer the game. Then I wrote the code by hand because it was fun. 😋
That said, for my new game, MK64++, I’m almost exclusively using ai. 🤝
