So, apparently Trump is boasting that Iran wants to talk for a ceasefire—this is currently one sided for now. According to Pakistani officials there is no confirmed date or venue for possible US-Iran talks in Islamabad. Reason is that Iran has not yet agreed to talk.

@calvinfroedge Quinoa: has a long shelf life and contains all amino acids. Honey: lasts forever. Ghee: super long shelf life. Don’t forget salt. Also, dried egg powder, dried milk powder: better to freeze these for longer shelf life.

If you could only stock up on one type of food, I would say that fats (lard, ghee, coconut oil, olive oil, etc.) are what you want.
The shelf life is years or even decades if frozen.
Dried legumes are next. Taro, yucca, moringa, and squash are all good living options.

You can live on just fat, but not without it. Calories are the real struggle. Your body can stay in ketosis basically forever. I hiked the entire Appalachian trail consuming almost entirely rendered beef fat from a cow I slaughtered (extremely calorie dense and non perishable).
