So my backend engineer called my day before yesterday to inform me that he will be leaving the company 😔
He just signed a contract with a canadian company as their new CTO with 20% stake and $20k monthly pay
I have been processing the Information since he Informed me and I don't know what to even say
Have never worked with anyone half competent as this guy
Was even discussing our new phase of development few weeks ago and immediately I mentioned what I want us to build, he said "mad ooo; let's build"
I don't know if I should be happy for him or what I'm expected to do now? This is more than a heartbreak to me
Working with someone that knows what the hell they are doing and also believes in your project is a bliss; I experienced it first hand with this dude!

If they were chanting "Death to Nigeria" or Death to a Nigerian ethnic group, or Death to a neighbouring country, I might understand the reaction.
If they choose to chant "Death to America," or "Death to Israel," why is that specifically a problem for you? Are you American or Israeli? What loyalty do you have to either of those entities? And why specifically should a Nigerian citizen in Nigeria not be free to express such a political opinion?
