This is going to sound odd coming from an American, but I feel like I liked games more during that period where they were designed solely with Japanese audiences in mind. Sure this also came with things I don't like like importing or even VPN's for MMO's.

@THEAnimeHERO Space Cobra's anime is one of the best watches I've had in the last decade. The only negative is how it ends quite literally fucks over the arc it ends on, making it impossible for them to ever continue lol.

We love our classics. Unlike a certain article, I actually have seen these 1980's classics. With the exception of Cobra, they aren't the smoothest adaptations but they have their sweet spots. Space Adventure Cobra 1982 is actually filler free.

@FfMeryll This isn't intended to throw shade, but I feel like a lot of the "big" RPG accounts just put a bunch of games that they're mad that people have issues with. I saw Tales of Arise in one post when the qualms people have with it are completely warranted.

The trend of "JRPGs that are overhated" is funny because 99% of the games mentioned aren't even overhated lol. Especially for niche games. A game not being popular doesn't make it hated, most people just didn't play it

@ArikGenerick When fighting Sabnok one key thing to note is you will always unblockable him if he's dashing at you. This way you will always get a guaranteed combo starter. The hard part is killing his minion early, so admittedly if you can start with Spirit Blaster it'll help a whole lot.
