I watch too much animation and have too many opinions about it. Also KPop, movies and comics. 26k on YouTube.

@CashewMashew @sanjiwifeguy It's not really true. When is "back then"? There's been anime that looked like this for decades
English

@sanjiwifeguy One time someone said something along the lines of "anime back then used to be based off reality and anime nowadays is based off other anime" and it has stuck with me
It's a little cheesy sure but it is true
English

whichever guy said modern anime girls are like inbred pugs is just being proven right over and over

@OmegaRobb4808 @LichVtuber British Invasion bands were like The Beatles and the Who. In Britain, we just called them bands.
Americans couldn't handle their English humour and got angry when they didn't want to play in front of segregated crowds.
English

@LichVtuber There is a reason why it’s called the “British Invasion” and not the “British Revolution”. They all came to the US where there were people capable of appreciating anything remotely edgy.

@gunzgal0r3 @medicinesellers A lot of people have watched 2 episodes because it was released in cinemas early
English

@medicinesellers The funny thing is she still does in the Manga. She can be goofy and hotheaded at times, while still being fairly serious. The fact that there is so much discourse when only one episode has air is mind boggling baffling.
English

I really do wonder what is going to happen to all of these people when the anime gets towards its conclusion and Major starts acting exactly like she does in the Oshii movies

@DiscussingFilm It's a genuinely fun and interesting film. Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogan were great but I think Edward Norton stole the show. He was hilarious.
English

@DiscussingFilm The movie Mortal Engines (2018) already refers to them as our “American Deities”
(I am not joking)

English

@HornTakes Yep…but they have MUCH more historical success. Spain, England, France, Norway…all still playing… all a fraction of our size and all of them also compete at high levels in other sports.
Well maybe not England 😂

After basketball, soccer is the most widely played team sport among American kids.
This pervasive belief that kids don’t play soccer in the U.S. is wild to me.
The problem isn’t participation — it’s player development.
Matthew_Sean@Matthew_Sean96
The US will never develop better soccer talent because kids in America would rather play football, basketball, baseball, and maybe even hockey.
