@kiwiatheist @kaizen000000000 God didn’t need blood on doorposts or circumcision to “remember” anything. The Bible literally says those were signs for the people, not for Him (Exodus 12:13; Genesis 17:11). They were about obedience, identity, and separation, not God lacking awareness.

@kaylah_osas You don’t have to kill your logical thinking to understand the Bible. Two people can read the same verse and both understand it logically, but one sees deeper meaning while the other rejects it. That’s what it means by needing the Holy Spirit.

When Christians say U need the holy spirit to understand the Bible, it actually means u need to kil ur logical thinking to understand.

@Africanized3 If you remove heaven (or eternal accountability), then “making the world better” becomes subjective. What’s “better” to one person could be harmful to another. Without a higher standard, morality becomes whatever people decide in the moment.

Instead of struggling to make heaven, why not strive to make this world a better place for you and others.
