I try to not make it affect my analyses and commentaries, but I have some small soft spot for PDP. I used to be a vocal critic of them when they were in power. But I came to realize after they left power that it wasn't a party matter. Naija politicians are mostly the same. Same set of people move around. And I felt they managed the national unity of Nigeria during their reign. They were also the most national party. Too bad they have been reduced to what they are today. I feel it's a legacy political heritage that should not die. I wish they recover. I want to see a strong PDP challenge APC. I'm still not sure of ADC's sustainability, whether it's a just party of convenience (a one political cycle wonder) or it will stand the test of time. Meanwhile, apart from BAT and his Lagos crew (Fashola and co), is there any other tier 1 national politician (APC/ADC) that was never part of PDP at any point in time?
