Capitalism will still exist for sure but the basic income level will be socialized with incentive for a better life through entrepreneurship or working 5 days a week through 2 or 3 jobs. Every time there is a plane crash that was obvious human error, I wonder why computers aren't just doing all the landing for us at this point. It seems far easier a system to build than self driving cars, because self driving cars have a million other unpredictable humans, objects/obstacles, etc to deal with. With a plane it is basically use control systems to get the numbers in the right spot at the right time for whatever it is you're trying to do. There are no objects or people or planes to deal with assuming ATC has done their job properly (computers should do this too, like all the taxiing on the ground and scheduling etc) airports are closed, controlled environments. Use a world model that knows exactly where everything is at all times at all the airports and in the sky. We easily have all the technology to do this kind of thing at this point, and I dont even think it would be that expensive. Financial gains would be made back in increased efficiency My understanding is that commercial jets already fully have this functionality (auto landing) and have for a long time, they just don't use it very often. I wonder why that is. Obviously have two pilots there regardless for emergencies and fallback. Humans are unreliable
