New data reveals over 75,000 people with no criminal record were arrested by ICE during the first 9 months of the Trump admin. The administration claimed they were targeting criminals, but the truth is clear: undocumented people with no record were detained & made to disappear.
@AttorneyCrump You mean detained and sent back to their home where they came from? That's the law in America and that was enacted by Congress in the early 1900s. Donald Trump didn't walk into the White House and write the law and start enforcing it out of thin air!
Fentanyl smuggling by foreign cartels isn’t a law enforcement issue - it’s an act of war. When boats operated by designated terrorist organizations carry enough poison to kill 25,000-50,000 Americans toward our shores, that’s functionally identical to enemy aircraft carrying bombs.
The weapon may kill through addiction rather than explosion, but the intent is the same: mass American casualties for profit. Once that boat lands and offloads its cargo, the attack is complete - the deaths are inevitable, just distributed over time.
The constitutional question isn’t whether the president can bypass due process for drug smugglers; it’s whether he can intercept a foreign weapon delivery system in international waters before it reaches American territory. The answer has always been yes.
When Congress is so paralyzed by partisanship that they won’t act while 100,000+ Americans die annually, the president has both the constitutional authority and moral obligation to defend the country. This isn’t executive overreach - it’s the core purpose of executive power, and the most libertarian solution to a crisis that’s killed over 250,000 Americans in just a few years.
Tomorrow, I, along with @SenTimKaine will be forcing a vote to block President Trump’s use of our Armed Forces to conduct strikes against vessels in the Caribbean Sea.
Congress has not authorized these strikes. They are illegal and risk dragging America into another war.
BREAKING: We just won in court — again.
A federal judge BLOCKED Donald Trump’s unlawful attempt to DEPLOY 300 OF OUR NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS TO PORTLAND.
The court granted our request for a Temporary Restraining Order — HALTING ANY FEDERALIZATION, RELOCATION, OR DEPLOYMENT of ANY GUARD MEMBERS TO OREGON FROM ANY STATE.
Trump’s abuse of power won’t stand.
JON STEWART SLAMS REPUBLICANS:
"You don't own Patriotism, you don't own Christianity, and you sure as hell don't own respect for the bravery and sacrifice military, police, and firefighters!"
Donald Trump and the Republicans are vowing to make this a MAXIMUM PAIN SHUTDOWN for the American people.
They're using the American people as political pawns because they don’t even want to TALK with Democrats to reopen the government.
This is a Republican Shutdown.
Make no mistake: this Trump shutdown will hurt people.
But Trump has already been doing his best to shut down government—at least the parts of government he doesn’t like.
Here are just a few examples:
If the ongoing dysfunction in D.C. has taught us anything it’s that the Republican Party can’t even govern itself, much less the country.
But the chaos isn't happening randomly.
It's part of a manufactured plot to sew cynicism and get you to check out. Don't fall for it.
The top 1% now owns more than $54 trillion in wealth.
That’s 468 times more than the bottom 50%.
One man — Elon Musk — owns more than the bottom half COMBINED.
This is what I mean when I talk about oligarchy.
A few days ago, a gang of about a dozen young men tried to assault a woman in her car at night in DC.
A @Doge team member saw what was happening, ran to defend her and was severely beaten to the point of concussion, but he saved her.
It is time to federalize DC.
BREAKING NEWS: Trump's government just approved Paramount's merger with Skydance.
Sure looks like they paid Donald Trump $36 MILLION for this merger.
Bribery is illegal no matter who is president.
More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.
If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt working class families for generations to come. Call your representative today and tell them to vote no on this bill.
It’s 2AM on Sunday and I’m heading to the Capitol to FORCE a full reading of the Republicans’ 940-page bill.
This bill will rip health care coverage away from 16 million people and cut food assistance.
It’s sick. And we will not stand for it.
🚨BREAKING:🇺🇸 A U.S. submarine has dramatically surfaced alongside aircraft carriers and a full carrier strike group. This is no routine maneuver, it’s a calculated display of raw naval power.
The message is clear: dominance below and above the waves🔥
Californians pay the bills for the federal government.
We pay over $80 BILLION more in taxes than we get back.
Maybe it’s time to cut that off, @realDonaldTrump.
At President Trump’s direction, I will choose 1,776 MAGA supporters from X for a historic White House visit on July 4 with all expenses covered. This exclusive 250th anniversary celebration of American independence includes a photo with President Trump.

New Record-Breaking Toyota EV In The Pipeline With A 745-Mile Range | Jannat Un Nisa, Wonderful Engineering
For over a decade, Toyota has taken a reserved approach to electric vehicles, offering just one fully electric model, the bZ4X SUV. But now, the company is moving aggressively to catch up, announcing that it aims to launch its first mass-produced EVs using solid-state batteries as early as 2027. The technology behind these batteries, developed in partnership with Japanese petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan, marks a major leap forward in range, charging speed, and durability.
According to Toyota, the new batteries will offer a driving range of up to 745 miles far exceeding current industry standards. For context, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the current record-holder, managed 570 miles on a single charge during a UK-based test. More impressive still is the charging time. Toyota claims its solid-state battery can fully recharge in under 10 minutes, addressing one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption: convenience. This charging speed would rival that of refueling a gasoline vehicle, significantly reducing downtime for drivers.
Durability is another area where solid-state batteries shine. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries, which typically last for around 1,500 to 2,000 charge cycles, solid-state versions can reportedly endure between 8,000 and 10,000 cycles. Harvard researchers have suggested these batteries could even last for up to 30 years, far outpacing current expectations for EV battery longevity. This kind of lifespan not only reduces the need for replacement but also makes electric vehicles a more sustainable and economically viable option in the long term.
