Something I wonder often: How often should I get in the field and “do the work”. When we were at 2M, I mowed lawns weekly and delivered materials almost daily. Now that we are at 7M I could probably go without pushing mower more than 3 times this year (still happens on crazy days). But should I purposely mow lawns ones a month? For respect? To remember what it feels like and that I can’t run the business like a spreadsheet? Or is this actually a disservice to the guys bc my best way to serve them is to do the higher level stuff… I honestly don’t know.
