Let me call you out on the double standard. Back then when David was at 168 I always said he was a weight bully. David fans argued the point that as long as he made weight it's a fair game. Then those same fans turn around and say Canelo fought a small guy when he fought Charlo… but to my understanding, Charlo made weight. Wouldn't that mean fair game? The difference between Charlo and David is Charlo dared to be great. Charlo moved up so the disadvantage is on him. That's taking risks for high rewards. David moved down so that the advantages are his. That's low risk for high rewards. You decide which is more honorable. As far as Canelo was concerned, he was facing the undisputed champion from a division in which he was once the champion. Obviously, it turned out Canelo was capable of moving up to be great and Charlo wasn't. So imagine Crawford's greatness. Canelo has a helluva resume. Has he been less ambitious since his loss to Bivol? Yeah, he has. Dude has 70 plus fights in a 20-year-long career that started when he was 15. I think he's earned himself the right to go out on his terms. As far as GGG age, you discredit Canelo for fighting GGG close to his 40’s. When was the last time Canelo beat a legitimate boxer? Everytime he faced a legitimate boxer he got smoked. If you bring up Golovkin who was almost 40 years old then you've proven my point. Jermell Charlo is another 154 pounder who moved up 2 weight classes to face Canelo. Ring size, glove size all in Canelo's choosing. Canelo is a really good boxer, but he is not "great".

Canelo's power and skill closed the size gap of the bigger dudes at 168. In the same way Crawford skill closed the size gap between a declining Canelo. If Canelo proved himself when moving up, why can't Crawford? And lets not pretend Canelo isn't an undersized SMW to began with. The size gap was not big anyway. They were practically the same size. I believe Terence even had more reach.
