Republicans in the House refuse to fund Israel unless the $14.3 billion they want to give Israel comes from defunding the IRS. I'm all for finding the funds by cutting spending elsewhere, but the more you defund the IRS, the more wealthy people are able to cheat on their taxes thus counteracting any cuts made.
