@VideoGameHstry Nearly all of them. I feel this list is not only heavily skewed towards Nintendo but doesn't include any computer games. For instance "King's Quest". Being that your logo is a Nintendo 64 controller though I can't be too surprised. :)

@Apogee_Ent By "Installed" I guess you mean onto a HDD? Didn't get one of those until much later. Who could afford a HDD for their IBM PC XT? When I did get a HDD? I think it would have been 'Eye of the Beholder' and the original 'Hero Quest' (Quest for Glory).

What’s the first game you ever installed on a PC?

@Nostalgica2000 I was there in 1997 and I *did* make this choice. I remember driving all over town to various game stores looking to trade in some of my old games (mostly trash) for a copy of Blade Runner on PC. Eventually struck a deal and went home with my boxed copy. Wasn't disappointed.

@DungeonNoir Robert E Howard was publishing 'Conan' stories 20+ years before 'Lord of the Rings' was even published. Easy.

Hell, my preference has always been to look for books that ARE influenced by Tolkien. I know I’m not alone.

@GrampsToolshed I've only read Keep on the Borderlands (twice). It's... honestly not great. More of a nostalgic hit, it does have a few good tweaks to the original module that I liked. If you can pick it up cheap (thrift store) then sure. The Gord the Rogue stuff is WAY better (IMO).

@BugbearBrothers I have my father's copy, sadly the magic ink sections are no good anymore. Had to find a completed PDF. Fun adventure though, I ran it recently for ACKSII.

M1 Solo, Blizzard Pass, was the first solo module from TSR. It’s a solo adventure for a thief level 1–3, who must cross Blizzard Pass, and penetrate a cavern system within Blizzard Pass to free the other adventurers from a prison. The module also contains a short adventure for a party of characters level 2–3, dealing with the exploration of the Pass.

@DungeonNoir There's a few games like that. 'PC Booter' games came (largely) before DOS games. Wizardry I - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord has BIG differences. You can find a list of PC Booter games on MobyGames. I wrote a blog post about it too but I ain't gonna self promote. :P

@luclairz How about arresting a minor, cuffing them, driving off sirens blaring, then questioning them aggressively? All with no parent/legal guardian? No lawyer? For a fairly mundane assault? Absolute nonsense.

@GermanStrands My money is on a new expansion/DLC for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion REMASTERED. Something new, not scene before for the original Oblivion. Timing is about right. Hopefully with a performance update as well.
