@SuchPettanko Not to say I didn't abuse them (I did play stuff like Ward Haven with Ra, Jerva Bike Dragon, Lion Crystal Haven, and Valdain Dragon), but that was more so playing something that just didn't just fold over quickly.

@SuchPettanko As soon as Marwyn entered the fray, I became disappointed. It was the type of design and gameplay I hated in SV1. Had a distaste for the Quest Decks and effects that permanently pump out burn damage with no realistic way for the opponent to stop it aside from just survive.

I firmly believe that the vast majority of the calls to ban pornography are Astroturfed by third worlders, and lobbied for by various NGOs consisting primarily of feminist, religious, and child safety grifters. The number of Americans with a legitimate medically diagnosable porn addiction is such a small percentage of the American population that any appeal to prevent some imagined epidemic of porn addiction is laughable. The people who talk most loudly about porn addiction as some omnipresent encroachment on society are often former porn addicts themselves, scared out of their minds that the tiniest sexual stimulation will have them relapse, much like an alcoholic. Demonization of adult sexual entertainment is almost purely an attack on heterosexual men, the entire American entertainment industry caters to women and queer sexuality, they are fully embraced by the mainstream. There is no traditional book publisher that has heterosexual American men as their main customer demographic to appeal to, no Hollywood movie studio, no AAA Gaming publisher, no mainstream comic publisher, no nothing, they have been disenfranchised entirely by their cultural institutions. Some religious arguments are often made that pornography is a sin or masturbation is condemned, but nowhere in the bible are those said, many seem to misinterpret or even mistranslation Matthew 5:28, where "coveting" was made to mean "looking at with lust", leading to the fallacies of "lust is condemned" and "porn is evil". There is Matthew 5:30 "And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.", which could be taken to mean that if you masturbate too much it will consume your life, and that is good advice for the genuine porn addicts out there. Then you have the moral argument itself, which Americans are split 52 - 47 on according to a 2025 Pew Research poll, that is simply an unbridgeable gap in moral views wrt vices such as porn, and any politician thinking of banning it is in for a very rough time.

@SaniOSRS Problem is stemming from how combat was balanced around using cannons and your boat stats. But they completely botched the execution. Honestly, we need more combat facilities that deal damage than just a cannon if they want to go down that route.

Why does sailing need combat at all? There’s enough to do in the skill without it, it just feels like something that was shoehorned in at the last second to appease to Reddit. Now we’re spending months trying to fix it instead of just deleting it like we should’ve to start.
