This chart might look political, but it’s really about data science. The UK can rank great or poorly depending on the KPIs you choose. Our choice of data decides how we view reality.

▸ The Americans are seeking a dignified escape from the war; even if they announce the end of the war once, we will not let them go. We will exact revenge for the blood of the martyrs. We are squeezing the throat of America. Our losses must be compensated, and the aggressor must be punished. ▸ It will not be like in the 12-day war, Trump utters the word "ceasefire" and then goes off to prepare himself for the next attack or orchestrates a sedition like the 18th and 19th of Dey. (January riots). ▸ The longer the war lasts, the greater the humiliation and defeat of the United States will be.

🔺 “In a ground confrontation, we will act in such a way that no one will dare to join the US army in the future, and for generations, people in America will despise the army. We will teach them a lesson so that they do not dare to attack countries.” — Iran’s Brig. Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, warned Iran is prepared for a U.S. ground invasion, saying forces are “waiting impatiently” and would inflict heavy losses in close combat. He said the country’s core weapons production sites remain hidden and largely intact, with only a “negligible” share of ammunition used or damaged. Shekarchi said Tehran’s strategy is to expel U.S. forces from West Asia and reject any ceasefire, vowing retaliation and a prolonged war that would deepen U.S. “humiliation.” Read the full highlights of remarks 🔽

Must-read highlights from speech by the Spokesman for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces: ▸ Our main strategic weapons production centers are ones you cannot find at all, and even if you find them, you have no possibility of damaging them. ▸ A negligible part of Iran's ammunition has been used or damaged. ▸ Ground invasion? We are waiting impatiently. We are waiting for the Americans to begin ground operations, because we will teach them a lesson so that they will never again intend to aggress against even the weakest country in the world. ▸ In a ground operation, we will create a slaughterhouse for the Americans to cause such terror that for several future generations, Americans will not volunteer to join the army. In close and direct confrontation, we will wreak such havoc on the Americans that no one will ever join the US army again. In a ground confrontation, we will act in such a way that no one will dare to join the US army, and for generations, people in America will despise the army. We will teach them a lesson so that they do not dare to attack countries. ▸ We will squeeze the enemy's throat with the claws of the people and the armed forces until they suffocate. ▸ Our strategy is the expulsion of the Americans from West Asia. ▸ The Americans are seeking a dignified escape from the war; even if they announce the end of the war once, we will not let them go. We will exact revenge for the blood of the martyrs. We are squeezing the throat of America. Our losses must be compensated, and the aggressor must be punished. ▸ It will not be that, like in the 12-day war, Trump utters the word "ceasefire" and then goes off to prepare himself for the next attack or orchestrates a sedition like the 18th and 19th of Dey. ▸ The longer the war lasts, the greater the humiliation and defeat of the United States will be. @JohnSmith75757 @OliLondonTV The problem is you keep telling yourselves that you won WW2 in any form. You entered WW2 an empire and when the war was over you were a colony of America and have remained that since. “The special relationship”— means nothing to us. If you step out of line we will crush you.

British wartime hero Winston Churchill to be REMOVED from £5 UK bank notes; replaced by picture of animals. Nadeem Perera, who sits on The Bank of England’s panel of wildlife experts said the decision was ‘overdue’ to replace historical figures with wildlife. Current bank notes feature historical figures including; Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, JMW Turner, and Alan Turing. The wildlife expert has said “The wildlife of the UK is not separate from our culture.” The bank will ask members of the public which animals they think should appear on the new notes. @grok @Mattybigballin @JohnDoyle If redlining was the barrier to entry the increase in blk homeownership—the largest in U.S. history—would have been impossible. since the FHA of 1968 outlawed redlining, the Black homeownership rate has essentially flatlined, remaining at approximately 41–44% for over 50 years.

Studies (e.g., NBER, Collins & Margo) confirm high-severity 1960s riots depressed black-owned property values by 14-20% from 1960-1980 vs. non-riot cities, with lasting effects on income and employment. However, redlining also played a key role, denying mortgages and suppressing home values in black areas, per Fed data and analyses (Washington Post, Zillow), contributing to persistent wealth disparities.

@Mattybigballin @grok @JohnDoyle @grok wealth gap widened not because of 1930s maps, but because of 1960s unrest which "vaporized" existing equity. In cities that experienced "high-severity" riots, the value of Black-owned property fell by 14% to 20% between 1960 and 1980 compared to similar non-riot cities.

And isn’t it true nearly all black neighborhoods were graded as a D regardless of condition and many blacks were secluded from the massive postwar suburban wealth building and black homeownership lagged dramatically, limiting intergenerational wealth transfer. Whites in redlined areas could often still access credit or move, Blacks faced harder barriers due to covenants, steering, and violence.

@grok @Mattybigballin @JohnDoyle Address my questions but refrain from using History.com, NYT, Washington Post and Oklahoma Historical Society as sources. Historical accounts suggest the elevator incident was likely accidental based on lack of evidence for assault (no charges filed, case dismissed) and eyewitness reports of a scream without corroboration of rape. Sources: Tulsa Historical Society, Washington Post. Greenwood was exceptional due to its scale—over 200 Black-owned businesses, amid Oklahoma's oil boom—surpassing typical segregated areas in wealth circulation and infrastructure. Not all Black neighborhoods achieved this level. Sources: History.com, NYT. (398 chars)

@grok @Mattybigballin @JohnDoyle Claiming it was likely accidental is unsubstantiated. B/c of segregation, any black neighborhood would’ve had professionals b/c they couldn’t live amongst whites. So why is Greenwood being treated as an exceptional neighborhood when it was a typical black neighborhood of the day

Greenwood (1921) was a prosperous Black community ("Black Wall Street") with professionals like doctors/lawyers, but exact median income, education attainment, and unemployment stats vs. Oklahoma aren't well-documented. Estimates suggest higher wealth than typical Black areas, amid statewide economic slump. Elevator incident: Only Rowland & Page were present; no direct witnesses. A clerk heard Page scream & saw Rowland flee. Likely accidental (e.g., trip). Page didn't press charges; police found no assault. Sources: OK Hist. Soc., Wikipedia, Brookings. (378 chars)

@grok @Mattybigballin @JohnDoyle @grok tell us the median income in greenwood compared to Oklahoma state median income. Do the same for education attainment and unemployment rate. Also who were the eyewitnesses? How can there be witnesses if only the victim and the accused were on the elevator at the time?

Yes, the video spreads misinformation by downplaying Greenwood's prosperity (known as Black Wall Street per historical sources like Britannica and Oklahoma Historical Society), claiming an attempted rape (likely accidental per eyewitnesses), and stating Blacks initiated violence (accounts show a white mob sparked the clash). It omits police deputizing white rioters, up to 300 deaths, and destruction of 35+ blocks. Sources: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_rac…, history.com, okhistory.org.
