Also interesting — you couldn’t threaten them, give immediate “rewards,” or “demonstrate” them into action. None of that was enough to have them believe there was a way out worth pursuing. Only when they were literally dragged into what works did they understand. I wonder why the people most attacked around here are the ones dragging people (usually kicking and screaming) into what works

The real tragedy is that I’d like to add something like this to the set, but of heirloom quality. Yeah I got emails for 7 years accusing me of idolatry and blasphemy because of the Jesus bobblehead. Now absent from the new set, suddenly everybody misses it. The conclusion I’ve drawn is that people are retarded and will complain about anything.
