Based on the events of the last seven days involving @PeoriaUnified11 and many other districts across Arizona in recent years, once again the children, as usual, are left in the dust. While those running the system point at each other about proper processes, alleged inappropriate behavior continues. We have so many government agencies, including law enforcement, and so many levels of government. Yet there are a lot of adults finger-pointing as to who has responsibility for what and who should have said or done this or that. The bigger our government gets, the less effective it has become at protecting the innocent. What our governments excel at is financial theft of its own citizens. And for what? Are children safer anywhere outside their homes? Are schools doing a better job educating than decades ago when they operated with less money? Is law enforcement dependable when an issue arises in a public school district? Are GOP lawmakers shrinking bloated, useless agencies or burdening us with more laws that lead to more finger-pointing and fewer answers? Is the court system keeping in mind the Constitution or does it lean towards growing the legal industry? We The People know when something is wrong, we don't need bureaucrats to tell us if that is the case. And something is very wrong right now.
