@peptidepirate It has been proven that Epithalon can stimulate the pineal gland to produce more telomerase. To get more specific it activates the hTERT which is basically the “on switch” to produce more telomerase. Which in theory Epithalon can help keep your cells younger.

@peptidepirate I agree with this. Your telomeres (protective cap on DNA) on your DNA can shorten over time when your cells divide. The telomeres protects the DNA code and acts a sacrificial buffer zone. They can hit a threshold where they stop diving and those cells turn into “zombie cells”.

The secret to aging slower isn't a cream or a supplement. Thought some can help (potentially)🏴‍☠️ It's your cells. When mitochondria degrade, your DNA follows. That's aging.🧬 Retatrutide research along with many other promising peptides in this space “MAY”suggests helping with mitochondrial energy and reduce that degradation hypothetically buying your cells more time.🏴‍☠️ (Hypothetically) Slow the cell slow the clock. ⏰ 🏴‍☠️ (Research purposes only not for human consumption, never take advice from a random faceless guy on x)🔬🏴‍☠️

@iron_will_pt This is true. You got two options. Lose the weight and see what’s under the hood or continue to believe you’re building muscle while you’re really just getting fat. Body builders can be around 10-15% body fat when bulking. People between 18-24% body fat don’t know this.

@FattyNoNatty 100% agree. Find a problem, research and find a solution is necessary. But don’t take a peptide just to see what it does to your body lol.

@DailyPeptide Yeah- I agree, if you do the deep research or have a very particular issue you are trying to improve, you might benefit from an additional 1 or 2 But testing out tons without a specific need is probably a waste of time

Peptides are cool but once you realize there's like 4 that are worth knowing about and it's about as deep of a subject as multi-vitamins you can concentrate on other stuff

@esmurfer336 @AFitTrader Peptides can make you okay with being hungry without you forcing yourself to be okay with it. But I would agree, you don’t have to take peptides. It should be a resource not a crutch.

13 weeks on Reta. 20lbs down. Best shape of my life. Thinking sharper. Hunger controlled. Dose? 0.5–1.25mg. So why are people running 8–12mg? I’m not calling it abuse. I’m asking — what are you actually gaining? And more importantly, what happens when you come off? Microdose + lifestyle > megadose + nothing else. What’s your dose and why?

@Crypto_Counsel Fortunately we have some brave lab rats in this space willing to experiment on themselves for research purposes only. I would be looking to them for advice before a doctor who’s “following the data” @peptidepirate

For starters, nearly every Dr will suggest starting at 2mg because that’s what was done in the reta trials. Obviously there are better Drs that will suggest starting lower but most dont. Also, most Drs will recommend increasing the dose to 4mg fairly quickly because that also mimics the reta trials. Again, bad advice. So lots of us are getting bad advice from Drs who aren’t thinking and just “following the data”

@RegenRandy This is a great explanation of how GHK-Cu works and how you can pair it with something as simple as collagen powder or bone broth to kick it into high gear. Understand your supplements and feed them what are asking for.

GHK-Cu tells your body to make more collagen. But signals need raw materials to execute. If you're cutting, training hard, or just older, your amino acid pool gets thin. The signal fires, the machinery kicks on, and then it waits. Collagen powder and/or bone broth fills that gap. Fast-digesting glycine and proline, directly available, so the rebuild actually happens instead of just getting signaled. I treat them as one stack for this reason. GHK-Cu drives the process. Collagen supplies the parts. Skip the supply side and you're essentially calling a contractor with no lumber in the yard.

@AndriusBend You proved my point. You get the same results no matter what. I believe proper nutrition, excercise, sleep, paired with micro dose GLP-1 is the answer long term. Fixing obesity starts with lifestyle in some cases NOT ALL. But GLP-1s shouldn’t be the engine behind weight loss.

Define "much different" and "over time"? If you're obese, you may need to lose 20%+ of bodyweight to get to the healthy range. On 1mg, that will take you 2 years+ if you happen to continously eat less adjusted for bodyweight lost (and thus energy expenditure decrease). On 4mg, you can almost get there in 1 year. On 8mg, you can get there in less than a year or so. That's saving extra 1 year being in unhealthy bodyfat zone which does way more damage than 8mg of Reta would do. As for side effects.. 1-4mg basically same side effects. So there has to be some serious reason why one wouldn't just take 4mg as the minimum (sure you can ramp up but not necessary). 8mg has more but still within reasonable range, so if you can tolerate it well enough, no reason not to get there too. 12mg is where it's probably not worth it for most unless people can tolerate. Once coming off, one can do it gradually. They already lost a ton of weight, so even if the rebound is bigger, you're better off rebounding 1-2% when you lose 8% more. I don't see the scare of it in both the research and online anecdotes. "think long term same result can be accomplished" Well, you can lose 1lb/week with low effort naturally, and way more if you're on serious obese side, why not just do that? If your intention is to take a drug for as long as possible, then it makes sense. Else, it makes sense to take the best possible dose for the benefits that one can tolerate. I know people who can tolerate Clen up to 160mcg/day with 120mcg/day being sweet no side effects great weight loss dose. But you can lose weight from 40mcg too. Tretinoin example I think it's a nice example, haven't thought of it that way but there's 3 massive differences: 1. Over 48 weeks, Reta delivers 2x+ better results on higher doses, unlike Tretinoin which delivers similar results: "Long-Term Equivalence: A key study comparing \(0.025\%\) and \(0.1\%\) tretinoin found statistically similar clinical results after 48 weeks (roughly one year) of consistent use." If it was the same weight loss with 1, 4, 8mg reta over 48 weeks then comparison would make sense. No need for higher doses. But for 2x results with similar side effects, it's quite the opposite. 2. Tretinoin can possibly (and should) be taken forever for cosmetic/anti-aging purposes. Reta can be taken forever too (my guess, not researched obviously) but that's not the goal. Tretinoin can be taken for years with no issues and mostly benefits as soon as the skin adapts. And the skin adapts even to higher doses so it's not that big of a deal. BUT, reta is not really meant to be taken forever. Lose the weight, fix the lifestyle in between, come off gradually and you're good. Jump back if needed before hits the fan and try again. 3. Taking longer to achieve better skin (especially if it's acne, eczema, and nothing too painful after awhile) is not the same as staying in unhealthy bodyfat range. One is minor inconvenience (that may not matter if you have a spouse that loves you), the other one is doing damage to everything your body has. Note that my overall claim isn't to take the highest dose studied or possible, but rather, the highest dose one can tolerate for most benefits. That may be 1mg for some, 4mg for others, and 8mg+ for others.

@Donye_Wump Probably not a good idea to buy from China if you don’t know the steps following. Testing these peps are crucial before any research can be done on them. Find a good quality wholesaler who can give you purity test, endotoxin testing, and heavy metal testing.

@Crypto_Counsel I am not trying to condemn the high dose users. I am just genuinely curious because my experience hasn’t required me to use high doses. I’m more interested in what results they see, their experiences when coming off those high doses, and where they got their information.

@alexaaronlab The GLP-1 receptor activation in the brain dampens dopamine signaling. It starts at the nucleus accumbens which is the core of the reward circuit. The same pathway responsible for alcohol, nicotine, opioids, food, and even gambling. Less dopamine spikes = less temptation.

Peptides don't replace discipline. They reward it. 🏴‍☠️ No discipline = renting the gains.🏴‍☠️ The drug ends, so do the results.🏴‍☠️ Discipline first = owning the gains.🏴‍☠️ The drug ends, the foundation doesn't.🏴‍☠️ Tools amplify what's already there.🏴‍☠️ If nothing's there, nothing gets amplified.🏴‍☠️

This is accurate. GHK-Cu is most known for increasing Collagen & Skin structure, wounds healing quicker, Anti-Inflammatory, hair growth, etc. The truth is, It clears your skin by reducing inflammation, speeding up cell turnover, and accelerating the healing of damage and marks left behind by breakouts.

GHK-Cu shouldn't be used to treat acne. It actually likely will have no effect on acne at all, besides maybe decreasing inflammation which could decrease some skin-redness and help that way. Its primary focus is things such as skin quality and texture, not acne. That's why i would use it in combination with other things that directly target acne and then use the GHK-Cu as an add-on for its above mentioned area of expertise.
