What a magical throwback! Watching this video brings back so many memories, let me share the real Magic M7 story -
The team owner reached out to me to see if I had any interest in doing a marketing deal. They offered me a percentage of the team with cash and named it after me, but I was never the majority owner. I was excited about the opportunity and even agreed to play in 5 games, all sold out, to help the team drive revenue! I had so much fun! Shout out to all the fans in Sweden who showed up to support and watch the Magic man play!

Magic Johnson @MagicJohnson played overseas in Sweden during the 1999-2000 season for a team formerly known as Magic M7 (@BorasBasket ). He played 5 games and scored 30 points in one game and had 11 assists in the first 2.5 minutes in another. The team ultimately ended up bankrupt due to preexisting financial problems. Magic would go on to play another couple games in Denmark before finishing his career 🔥 @AntGoods
