Not to be serious on main but if you're going to Offkai, please be aware of your surroundings, how people (even friends!) are acting, and look out for your group. At Offkai last year, I was touched inappropriately without consent by someone who I considered a fellow gay Vtuber and friend. I didn't say anything in the moment since, in my head, it was just me overreacting and making a public scene. Turns out, this person was also touching other people in the same way. It took two other people, two of my friends, being touched and yelling at this person for them to stop what they were doing. I do sometimes still think about if I had spoken up then, if I could've stopped it all from jump. I don't bring this up to start drama. I'm no longer friends with that person and he's since apologized, although he denied doing anything wrong vehemently until we all confronted him. I do hope that he'll never touch someone without consent like that ever again. I also don't ever really talk about this situation since it's been resolved privately. But yes, it was an insane situation. As a SA survivor myself, I shut down my feelings when it happened. It was easier than creating a scene. I hope that for anyone reading this, if you see something or experience something at the con, say something. You'll be doing yourself and the other con attendees a great service.
