Growing up, our family doctor had two kids. His son was brilliant. Finished secondary school. Got admission almost immediately. Graduated. Did NYSC. Before we knew it, he was already in Germany, doing well. Everything looked like it was working out perfectly. Then we heard he had an accident. He was on life support for a long time. His dad flew to Germany and brought him back home for treatment. They got him the best care they could. He didn’t survive. His mum never recovered from it. A year or two later, she passed too. Life is strange. You can be doing everything “right.” You can be ahead. You can look like you’ve made it. And then… everything changes. This isn’t to scare anyone. It’s just a reminder. Stop envying people’s timelines. Stop thinking you’re behind. Stop assuming someone’s highlight reel means they’re guaranteed tomorrow. Everyone’s journey is different. And none of us truly knows how long it is. Focus on your path. Move with intention. And don’t waste today comparing.

🚨 I pay ₦7,600 every single month. Not because I’m swimming in money. Not because life is soft. But because I believed it would open doors. Meanwhile, I’m struggling to feed. For perspective, 10,000+ of you were in line for tickets to Red Rocks the past couple days. With everyone capped at 4 tickets max that’s around 25-35k tickets. It’s a 9 thousand person venue 😂. I HATE seeing the website crash and such a horrible ticket purchasing experiences. I am well aware we could do 4-5 nights at red rocks, it’s just not in my heart. My gratitude for feeling more demand for my work than ever before in my career as an artist 10+ years in feels amazing. But simply put I just want to take my portion, play my little shows and head back home. These shows have become a wonderful side quest when I’m fueled up enough to go do them. I want to do more, and I’m thankful that you guys have remained so level headed about it all. Thankful for you guys.

She now called me and asked, “Didn’t you see my status?” I replied I saw it. She asked why I didn’t ask her what happened. I told her, “Is it not because of your suspension?” She shouted, “Noooo!" That One of her colleagues showed their boss her status, and her boss told her not to bother coming back after two weeks, that she has been sacked. AHHH! Sacked?! She started crying over the phone. I consoled her and told her I can help her get a job where I work. She thanked me and hung up. Few minutes later, I checked her status again, and she has posted already. Okay! Guess what she posted... "Make I beg you for work when my sister be CEO? Dey play." Shuuu!?? Na once I message her say I dey work for person ooo. CEO keh?!
