@FPetet Surely the only time you need to use an 'agent' is if you don't qualify for a visa in the normal way? One year extension for, in my case a Non O based on retirement, is so easy.

Never use an agent to do your visa extension. My friend has used an agent several times to extend his retirement visa without problems. In December he used the same agent again, but still hasn't received his PP back. He is close to 90 days overstay if they haven't already...

I live right next to the US embassy in London. They built an actual moat around it. Who builds a moat around their embassy? Countries that do bad things and expect retaliation. Or countries who do diplomacy as if we’re in the Middle Ages.

Ich habe mir auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt einen Holzring gekauft, aus Pflaumenbaumholz. Ich mag so etwas. Dann fand ich ihn aber etwas zu langweilig und habe ihn zum Juwelier meines Vertrauens gebracht. Er hat mir einen kleinen Goldpunkt eingesetzt. Schön, oder?

The use of UK bases for US bombing missions on Iran has to be stopped. No other country in Europe is allowing it's airspace to be used for the immoral war. Shame on the government for allowing the UK to become directly involved.

@3mausimhaus @MKaltental In Oesterreich gibt es verbilligte Jahrestickets fuer Senioren. Fuer weniger als 300€ konnte ich mit jed. Bahn, Bus d Salzburger Land befahren. Zudem kostete d Oebb Bahncard knapp 30€/Jahr mit 50% Rabatt. In Deutschland ist es kaum leistbar.

@MKaltental In Schottland ist der Kniff, dass das Ticket nur für Busse gilt. Die sind natürlich nicht so schnell wie die Bahn. So kann der Aufwand für die Regierung geringer bleiben als mit einem generellen ÖPNV-Ticket. Und wie man so schön sagt, dem geschenkten Gaul..

In Schottland bekommt jeder mit 60 Jahren ein kostenloses Ticket, mit dem man beliebig alle Busse fahren kann. Auch Überlandbusse. So kann man bequem alles erkunden. In Deutschland darf man die noch mitfinanzieren, die sich per grimmigem Blick einer Fahrkartenkontrolle entziehen.

@FPetet I hope it isn't the lady I used? She did our retirement 3 yrs w/o issue, 90 report automatically. Then she ignored all email & y'day I learnt the hard way that she hadn't done 90 day for a year. My mistake, I let myself being lured into false trust🤬

Final touches taking place for this evening’s State Banquet! 🍴🌷 The table has been decorated with handpicked seasonal flowers and foliage from the gardens at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and The Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park. 🌼 After the Banquet, the flowers that cannot be reused are donated to Floral Angels, of which The Queen is Patron. The charity delivers flowers to hospices, elderly care homes, shelters, and many other deserving beneficiaries within the local community.
