English is easy if you try. Cambridge, Brighton, Copenhagen and finally Bangkok. 33% of my life spent in UK, 33% Denmark and 33% Thailand.

@FPetet Old clip but you are right, "one of the biggest problems in the traffic nowadays is the total lack of law enforcement".

@Ajarncom I remember at Frankfurt Airport a couple of years back, a really muscular German immigration lady asked me turn my camera on and take a photo of anything. I asked her for a big 😀. That didn't please her, but I took her photo anyway. She looked at it and asked me to delete it. 😅

Almaty airport security 🇰🇿 Belt, wristwatch, sneakers, power bank, laptop, laptop open, laptop actually switched on. 🤪 I thought we were moving away from all this. I wouldn't mind but the immigration officer had literally just gone over my info page with a magnifying glass.

@Ajarncom Yes, I have noticed that. The problem is I rarely check to see what's coming, so I don't get to record them. I should discipline myself to check each day.

@FPetet Teeveeing is not perfect by any means, but I find it plays back better if you actually record the program rather than use the 7-day time machine function. It's OK for what we pay.

As usual, BBC and ITV will cover all the games live, plus have their own highlight shows for those who can't face sitting through Cape Verde v Iran. Therefore Teeveeing (the old TV Mucho) could be a good bet.

No World Cup on Thai TV? Fans will probably find their own way anyway. 👀⚽ A Thai minister says viewers may turn to online channels if negotiations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights fail.

@Ajarncom I wonder how many Thais would stay up all night to watch World Cup football. I doubt if it were so many that paying FIFA's exorbitant fee would be worth it.

@Ajarncom The 7 day catch up on Teeveeing was the main reason I have continued to use them for so many years. I also subscribe to another IPTV to watch some of the early PL matches.

@jpb_foto When i was young (<12), I lived near Cambridge and was Liverpool crazy. At 12 we moved to Brighton and attended nearly all home matches,so they quickly became on par with Liverpool. I think i favour Br'ton just a fraction more than Liverpool simply because I saw them more often

Last night I watched one of my favourite teams, Liverpool draw with Chelsea. I have just finished watching Liverpool lose to my favourite team, Brighton, in the FA cup semi final. I don't usually watch women's football, but this was a really good match.

Went out for lunch and had to cross Thonglor at soi 23. They have resurfaced 1/2 the road, so no markings at the crossing. I feared the worse, but all cars stopped, but when we got to the second half with markings not one car stopped. Waited for break in the traffic

@BBCNews It will be the "biggest World Cup in history", " no games have ever been so successful ", "Americans pulled in billions of dollars" maybe rename all the stadiums and so on, even though hotels and businesses lose out.

@jesperbkk I have just passed the crossing further along (from Petchaburi to Rama 9) and the barriers were lowered. 2 motorcycles zig-zagged through the crossing. The oncoming train gave a long loud blast of its horn.

The accident at Makkasan/Asok. I used to live at the Room 21 and worked on Petcahburi Rd and have crossed that intersection at least a hundred times and I am pretty sure that every time I have seen a train pass there my mind was on how dangerous it looked and that it was bound to get someone killed at some point. Today it happened.

@FPetet @GuntherEagleman Please help us North Americans with your use of "clicked". I would have said "triggered" to go into a pointless, ugly rant. That's perhaps the saddest, most harmful effect of that man, giving Americans the "right" to hate, insult, and disenfranchise The Other.
