My GP has to sign off, but I had the assessor last week. I can drive, no restrictions. I’ve kept schtum, but I’ve been on side roads, up the town, on the M11, to Wexford town, Dublin, the shops, cinema. My family and friends have been extraordinary, but my independence is back!

Walked to Reeth and watched the strimmer man killing all the dandelions. On the walk home a charm of goldfinches had found a tiny remaining patch of dandelion seed heads to feed on. Once you see how hell bent we are on destroying food chains you can’t unsee it.

It was a ruff day at the playground..🐶🐾😅

Here it is, my annual reminder: don't spray spring dandelions with roundup. One flower can be visited by 100+ bees, and your chemical bullshit will kill all of them. If you hate dandelions so much, just pull them. Or leave them alone. It's not like they're going to shank you as you walk by.

A REMINDER to those of you that own a dog, and drag it roughly when it stops for a sniff or takes too long (in your opinion) to have a wee. It's your dogs walk, not yours. Go for a walk alone if you're in that much of a hurry 😟

You’ll never guess who came to visit me tonight — only Keelan and Dylan from the Late Late Toy Show, here to collect their pictures. Two of the nicest kids ever. Apparently they “don’t do hugs,” but I think I got about a thousand of them. Nearly cried again.
