In January, the our team transported 23 seriously injured patients, 10 of them abroad for further treatment. Many of these patients had burns and multiple injuries, with burns covering up to 95% of their bodies in some cases, making transportation extremely difficult.

Yesterday, on the Kupiansk direction, 24-year-old Mariichka Bihun, callsign “Mriya,” was killed. Her comrades say: “Freezing temperatures, crossing rivers, carrying 30-liter canisters, marching 10 km to reach positions — she handled it all on par with the men. She proved that nothing is impossible. There’s only will and determination; everything else is an excuse.” russian aggression keeps taking the best of us. Eternal memory to this Heroine, and to all who gave their lives for our freedom.

@iocmedia And this is why the Olympics is increasingly irrelevant in the modern world. You are too focused on appeasing evil out of fear, instead of supporting good.

🚨IOC statement 1/3 Skeleton pilot Vladylsav Heraskevych not allowed to participate at Milano Cortina 2026 after refusing to adhere to the IOC athlete expression guidelines Having been given one final opportunity, skeleton pilot Vladylsav Heraskevych from Ukraine will not be able to start his race at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games this morning. The decision followed his refusal to comply with the IOC’s Guidelines on Athlete Expression. It was taken by the jury of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) based on the fact that the helmet he intended to wear was not compliant with the rules. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has therefore decided with regret to withdraw his accreditation for the Milano Cortina 2026 Games. Despite multiple exchanges and in-person meetings between the IOC and Mr Heraskevych, the last one this morning with IOC President Kirsty Coventry, he did not consider any form of compromise. The IOC was very keen for Mr Heraskevych to compete. This is why the IOC sat down with him to look for the most respectful way to address his desire to remember his fellow athletes who have lost their lives following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The essence of this case is not about the message, it is about where he wanted to express it.

Just now, a homeless man was sitting next to me in a Kyiv metro carriage, learning German words from a squared notebook. The words were written in a neat column, in beautiful handwriting, underlined with colored pens. What have you done today for your self-development?

A Russian drone strike in the Dnipro region targeted a passenger bus carrying mine workers returning from work, killing at least 15 people and injuring others. Russia’s terror against civilians continues day after day. This atrocity is yet another example of the systematic war crimes it has committed for years. Only united international pressure can force Russia toward a just and durable peace. Support for Ukraine must not waver.

As Russia has weaponised winter, I urge Australians to support the Warmth for Ukraine fundraising campaign launched by the Ukrainian community. The situation in Ukraine is critical: ⚠️ Millions of people are without electricity, heating, or running water ⚠️ A state of emergency has been declared in the energy sector ⚠️ Every power plant in Ukraine has been targeted by Russia ⚠️ Temperatures are plunging to –20°C overnight 📢 Please consider donating to the AFUO-supported campaigns: 💙 Ukraine Crisis Appeal: ukrainecrisisappeal.org 💛 Future Ukraine – Warmth for Ukraine: futureukraine.org.au/events/warmth-… Every contribution helps keep families warm and saves lives this winter.

@TPSpindel No, this is why they don't work. Tarrifs are paid by the purchaser (or importer if it's a gift), not the seller and definately not the country they come from. The idea (wrongly) is to discourage purchase/import from the tarrifed country. But it just makes the consumer pay more.

Tariffs are paid by other countries, right? Funny, because I’m the one getting hit with an import fee on a package from my mom.

A drone strike on a passenger train in Shostka, Sumy region is an appalling war crime: 30+ injured. The world must raise the cost of Russia’s aggression: long-range capabilities for Ukraine, transfer of immobilised Russian state assets, and severe sanctions on Russia’s banks, oil and nuclear sectors.

I’m never sure what to write on here. I’m tired and we are continuing our work, the medical point is still open, my evacuation team is still working, and my soldiers are still fighting. The donations are fewer and fewer and I understand that people have forgotten about the war unless a big tragedy occurs. I’m grateful for the people who continue to support Ukraine.

Hey @Capcut_CS how do you stop these really irritating pop-ups coming up in the timeline for videos you are trying to edit? If you must put something like this up please put it in a corner where I can ignore it instead of right on top of the workflow!!

2/2 the road safety industry and health professions worked hard for decades to change this erroneous language, but I see it more and more, particularly from the @abcnews please consider the language, words influence behaviour and acceptance of behaviour.

1/2 Why are #media reports reverting to using outdated #accident language so much in relation to road traffic #crash ? Whether by road design, vehicle design, driver education, behavioural adjustment and enforcement, they are avoidable in most cases, so crash not accident.
