In November 2014, I had all but flunked out of engineering school and had to take a semester off and regroup. Always knew I wanted to design hot rods but didn’t know where to begin. Dad suggested we roll up to Petty’s Garage in Level Cross with my portfolio. Thought he was nuts

@BradSisson4 I was at that race in Richmond that day (Kyle Petty’s first win). Darrell drove Dale up the track entering turn 1. This video clip is the payback in turn 3.

Can we please stop comparing every incident to whether or not Dale Earnhardt would/wouldn't have done something similar? Just bc he did drive aggressively at times doesn't make it ok for all drivers to make bonehead moves. Dale had finesse & skill, but also made mistakes too.
