Peace must come to Ukraine now, not later, to stop the evil actions of Russia. As Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God."
Just as my formerly negative opinion about Ukraine was formed by fake news, similar misinformation exists regarding President @realDonaldTrump. Just as my opinion changed about Ukraine, so can yours about President Trump.
My brothers and sisters of Ukraine, your enemy is Russia and Putin, not the United States and President Trump. While President Trump did not begin this war, rest assured he is working to end it.
I concur that Russia must be held accountable for the killing of innocent lives, and I firmly believe this will occur.
When I hear the phrase "permanent peace" for Ukraine 🇺🇦, my heart fills with joy. Let us remember that this is not about popularity—it is about justice. In the name of humanity rather than politics, I stand with you, Ukraine.

Insanity. Trump has either lost his mind or is fully loyal to Putin. Either way, anyone in the GOP defending this as "he just wants peace" is as deserving of condemnation. Do any of them have the courage to defend the truth? Trump is basing US foreign policy on blatant lies.

Damascino the Monk—named after John of Damascus. Such a sweet, sweet man. He has been praying here on Mount Athos since 1995. He translated the works of Issac the Syrian (a 7th C. Bishop from Nineveh) into Greek and English. He gave me a copy; I'm hiding a copy under my shirt to protect it from the rain.
