46 years ago March 18, my brother died in a car crash into an empty flat bed 18 Wheeler. Illegally broke down and on the right lane of two lanes and a 2' drop off zero side protection or lane. I-10 fwy was, of course, under construction. The truck had broken down at 3:45 in the afternoon and set his flares. The driver walked to the Hotel with a Coffee Shop Grill and Bar. At 8:15 pm the truck was still there, the flares burnt out, the battery and blinkers gone out. There was not adequate freeway lighting yet. 46 years later, it still feels fresh when I think of the event. However, with the conversations I have seen on 𝕏 this week and the hatefulness towards people they don't even know, I am glad my brother didn't have to stay to see how vile humans have become. So many show zero dignity, class, respect or even a shred of kindness towards our fellow man? I am glad I raised my kids to be kind. Stop and think before you speak. And trust this, you will face consequences for your behaviors. The Fates, God and Karma are all real. Order some Humility with a side of Gratitude this weekend. I pray you have fair winds.

This Peanut Butter jar is empty. 1) Do you just throw it away in regular garbage? 2) Do you just throw it away in the recycle bin? OR 3) Do you rinse it first, & then throw it away in the recycle bin? The jar & lid has recycle ♻️ symbols on it. There is no “wrong” answer.

This year, I did a major overhaul of my budgeting spreadsheet. I honestly don't like it as much as my previous one, but my wife participates more and despite me alone being less efficient, we are much faster together and she participates a lot more. I'm guessing that's still a positive change and a win.

I'm focusing more and more on threads these days. Why? My account with 12 followers gets more action than I get on X these days. If the trend continues, I may very well switch over to Meta verified. One thing I love there, people aren't concerned with bullshit like follower-to-following ratios, or other stupid stuff like that. People post, people interact, people connect, you know, basically what Elon had promised us. I'll still be here an hopefully things will get better!
