As a lawyer who has represented hundreds of clients in divorces and custody disputes, I have seen a lot of people have marriage disasters that they would have avoided if they had asked and answered the right questions before they said, "I do." Here's my list of 20+ questions to ask yourself and your partner before you get married. #love #couplelove #couples #marriage #relationships

My recollection of “the 10,000 rule” is that it takes approximately 10,000 hours of deliberate practice to achieve mastery at a complex task. You appear to be adding things to the “rule” that Gladwell does not claim - at least not in his book (did not listen to this particular lecture). In particular, you are saying “10,000 hours will never make you a virtuoso if you are not genetically predisposed” as though Gladwell said 10,000 hours equals virtuoso. I would not say those two words (master and virtuoso) are interchangeable.

@TheShiftJournal Largely garbage. For peasants, he’s right. For the elite, he’s wrong. 10K hours, will never make you a virtuoso if you’re not genetically predisposed. Kids all grow and develop at different rates; relying on 1 study of some Czech kids to support your delusion is disingenuous

Dak Prescott’s breakup has people asking an interesting legal question. If a millionaire has a child in Texas, do they have to pay 25% of their entire income in child support? Not exactly. In this video, I explain how Texas child support law actually works for high-income parents. #DakPrescott #TexasFamilyLaw #ChildSupport

That is not what Rubio was trying to say. His initial point was that the U.S. should not give whatever money it was supposed to give or lift whatever sanction that was in place at that time. His rationale was that Iran would likely still develop a nuclear weapon but would do so at a later date. Further, Rubio was arguing that Iran would improve its long range nonnuclear weapons to the point that it could retaliate against U.S. if the U.S. tried to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons in the future. Or…to borrow from your language… If you can develop long range missiles, then you become practically immune from foreign invasion.

Using your post, I’ll take a stab at this English thing you say “they” never learned. I am one of those who you place in the “they” category, so I will do the best I can do under the circumstances. You said: “Never learned it.” •Issue: This is a sentence fragment. You are missing a subject. You said: “Too busy playing football to ever have listened in (or probably even attended) class.” •Issue: This is also a sentence fragment. You are missing a subject. •Note: Some would argue that you incorrectly split the infinitive and should have written “to have” instead of “to ever have.” That critique, however, is stylistic rather than a clear grammatical error. You said: “Many are too stupid to have learned it should have have tried to listen.” •Issue: This is a run-on sentence containing multiple independent thoughts without proper punctuation. •Issue: You duplicated a word (“have have”). •Issue: Your use of the word “it” is ambiguous. It is unclear whether you are referring to a skill, a subject taught in class, or the English language itself. •Given that your comment criticizes others’ command of English, it is reasonable to expect clarity on that point.

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Former Steelers RB Najee Harris told Marshawn Lynch that Mike Tomlin advised him to leave the Steelers and sign with a new team in free agency. “He said, Najee, I always talk to you not as if you are a player, but as it you are my son... He was like, it you was my son, I would tell you not to come back here. I was like, alright bet. It wasn't no hard feelings or nothing like that.”

It was on January 10, 2018, when Valaree Schwab left school to have lunch. While she was out, the 16-year-old was attacked by a group of "school bullies" who beat and kicked her to the ground and stole her keys. When she followed them to another fast food place to retrieve her belongings, Z'inah Brown, Carl Booker, and Dominique Slack stabbed Valaree in the chest, puncturing her heart and lungs. Valaree spent her last conscious moments "gasping for air, clutching the hand of a young cashier." Carl Booker and Dominique Slack were both sentenced to "shock probation." This involved six months of incarceration in Westchester County Jail followed by five years of probation. So those 2 are out and ready to kill again. Zina Brown received 17 years in prison. She's eligible for release after the 17 years minus any good time credits.

I’ve watched IU lose at home to Ball State. I’ve watched Wisconsin score 83 points on our head. I’ve watched IU sneak by Akron in 4 OTs just TWO years ago. Nothing and I truly mean nothing about this season would be a “disappointment” You don’t hate ESPN enough.

@Original5412 @SportsSteadyTV I think there are many positive things that can be said about both guys’ careers both on and off the field. However, if forced to say who did more in the NFL, then I’d say Harbaugh contributed to the success of his teams more that Clark contributed to the success of his.

The most interesting thing about your statement is that it inspired me to click on your name, which leads to a profile that says “#ChristIsKing”! Please remove any references to Christ from your profile. Your posts are a bad example of the influence that Christ can have on a person’s life.

@LordMolyneaux3 @TheOnlyDSC When it's one of their people on the ground they beg for us to stop. when it's a (usually innocent) white person on the ground, they gang-stomp their head into the concrete and steal their wallet. Thats why it's best to just shoot and kill the violent black people.

The world was so awesome when my issues were along the lines of “Autobots vs. Decepticons” and “there’s no way wrestling is fake ‘cause my friend definitely cried when I put the DDT on him.” These days, as soon as I say “I put the DDT on him,” I’m wondering whether someone thinks I am supposed to follow that with a “pause” or not.🤷🏽‍♂️

My knee-jerk response is that mandatory life sentences for anything is a dangerous policy to support. Let’s say you have a 22-year old female first year teacher who has a sexual relationship with a 17-year old high school teacher who was not a student in the teacher’s classroom. I have a hard time viewing that scenario as being as “life” worthy as a scenario where you have a 22-year old male teacher who has sexual contact with a 9-year old. Under your proposal, both of those things are equally worthy of life in jail despite the fact that one is clearly less heinous than the other.

You said: “There is no logical basis for restricting sex as a form of payment.” That is not correct. The logical basis is that allowing sex as a form of payment leads to worse outcomes than prohibiting sex does. I am not saying that I agree with that logic (yet), but that is the logical basis.   Another logical basis for restricting sex as a form of payment at the local level is that, assuming prostitution is illegal in the state at issue, sex as a form of payment is considered prostitution. Illinois' prostitution statute defines prostitution as “knowingly performing, offering, or agreeing to perform any act of sexual penetration . . . in exchange for anything of value.” And housing is absolutely going to constitute a thing of value in this case. You might not agree with the logic, but you can’t say that no logic exists. You said: “In fact restricting a person from using sex as payment is just as discriminatory as allowing it.” You are right. But not all discrimination is illegal. In fact, depending on how you define discrimination, every one of us discriminates or is the “victim” of discrimination every day. However, society, or perhaps I should say “the government,” has decided that certain types of discrimination is going to be prohibited.

@Damon_Moore @RealMarcosDarcy @KollegeKidd So the sticking point is not amending a contract it is sex then. There is no logical basis for restricting sex as a form of payment. In fact restricting a person from using sex as payment is just as discriminatory as allowing it.

@Damon_Moore @RealMarcosDarcy @KollegeKidd You have the woman’s word that the landlord offered to amend the terms of the agreement. Would it be discrimination to ask her to pay the rent in a different way? Say by helping him paint the apartment for example? I doubt it.
