@NerdeenKiswani Who gets to define what it is? The Zionist or you? Can you also define Black people's movement for them? What about for LGBTQ people? The supremacy comes from the one who thinks they have a right to define another group.

You don’t get to say it’s acceptable to criticize Zionism but then call it antisemitic the moment that people actually define what it is. ‘Jewish supremacy’ isn’t an attack on Jews as a people. It’s a direct description of an ideology that structures power, land, and rights in a way that privileges Jews over others, particularly Palestinians.
Organizermemes@OrganizerMemes

"Jewish supremacy" is the easiest tell of when someone's Anti zionism is just antisemitism the equivalent to the right using "radical Islam" a decade ago, not distinguishing between religion and extremist ideology Especially since the vast majority of Zionists are Christian

Top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), says President Trump is “flat-out lying” about diplomacy talks with Iran. “Last Sunday, he realized, ‘Oh my God, I've got a financial cataclysm on Monday,’ so he just made it up that they’re in negotiation with the Iranians,” he says. “Underneath that statement, the Iranians have now realized they have the reins. They are controlling the Strait of Hormuz. Gasoline prices are up more than $1 a gallon.”

Opinion: The only way Israel can govern the Gaza Strip without becoming an external oppressor of “another people” is to remove “the other people” from the confines of the Gaza Strip itself. jpost.com/opinion/articl…

I warned Biden and Harris directly: Our silence on Gaza was morally, legally, and politically wrong. We were told it wasn't in the data. That wasn't strategy – it was risk aversion dressed up as wisdom. Democrats cannot make that same mistake again this midterm season.

@allengarvin @EyeOnStalk @HistoryBoomer Moody v Net Choice sent the case back to the lower courts. Algorithms are no more speech than opiates, money, or explosives are. I wouldn’t have a problem with replacing any judge, Supreme Court or otherwise, who failed to understand this.

@danton3wuzhere @EyeOnStalk @HistoryBoomer Moody v Net Choice was 9-0. You'll need to replace the liberals AND the conservatives, specifically choosing justices disinclined to traditional first amendment jurisprudence. I doubt that would end well for the first amendment.

I'm with David. Social media is awful (yes, I'm here, I'm part of the problem), but we can't throw out the free speech baby to get rid of some crappy social media bathwater. Parents and schools should crack down on children's phone/screen usage, not the government.

I am alarmed by the negative influence of smartphones and social media on children. All of us should be. I am also worried that in our zeal to protect children from those negative influences that we will violate the Constitution and undermine free speech. nytimes.com/2026/03/29/opi…

@danton3wuzhere @EyeOnStalk @HistoryBoomer I don't get the fascination with infinite scroll. Is there any measurable difference between that and "You've reached the end of the feed. Hit refresh for more content"? "Force algorithms to be less addictive" sounds like textbook compelled speech.

@Aintropy @MattZeitlin Even worse when the uniparty went to war in Iran and blew hundreds of billions at the expense of everyone in the country. Netanyahu benefited though

this is why i think the turn to post-liberal economics among both republicans and democrats will not lead to enduring consensus or popularity, people really do like cheap stuff

Greenspan "explained what was behind [the last decade's] extraordinary slowdown in US inflation. One indicator in particular was key, he said...I couldn’t help interjecting. 'The import price of Chinese goods!'... Greenspan ... asked whether I cared to deliver the rest of the presentation." @HistoryBoomer I’m fine having an age limit before kids can go on social media. It’s not a speech thing. There are plenty of laws about advertising to kids, plenty of movies you can’t watch until you’re a certain age.

@HistoryBoomer @DavidAFrench This is bullshit. Things like infinite scroll and algorithmic feeds absolutely ARE addictive and are no more an example of “free speech” than crack cocaine.

@JustinWolfers @joncoopertweets It also means lower wages because the labor supply increases (otherwise businesses wouldn’t care about increasing immigration). Low wages with high profits leads to massive wealth inequality and a political system purchased by the rich which is exactly what we have.

Immigrants weren’t just filling existing jobs; they were helping create them. That’s Econ 101: jobs are not a fixed pie. More people means more customers, more demand, more businesses expanding, and yes, more hiring.

Holy shit! Iran just called out Trump for being blackmailed by Israel due to his involvement with Epstein: “There is no doubt Trump, under pressure from the terrorist organization Mossad due to his background in the Epstein case, has become a pawn of Israel and Netanyahu.” 🔥🔥

“We need to know exactly who talked him into it.” Megyn Kelly, who opposes the Iran war, says that now that the war “is going poorly,” we need to see “some accountability” not from Trump, who decided to go to war, but from activists and journalists on the right who supposedly convinced him to do it. Real journalism right there, acting like Trump has zero agency.
