@deandraswriting I was a "take the paperback from my cold dead hands" reader until I tried a Kindle in 2012. I switched over to e-books near 100% within the year. I was getting presbyopia early, and the ability to change font-size was a game-changer.

@nyrath What I found particularly interesting was that it was predicting a vertical frame format (i.e. TikTok) rather than the increasingly wide screens that were taking over movies at the time.

@mattyglesias I like the idea of parliamentary government for getting things done, but... I look at what is happening in Israel with Netanyahu's court "reforms" and start to think that maybe a third co-equal branch of government isn't such a bad idea.
