The whole album is a masterpiece. However, in my 30 years with Tori Amos, never has anything physically, emotionally, and spiritually shaken me like 23 Peaks. I hope it’s the last thing I hear in this lifetime. Her lyrics, her arrangement, her vocals. Devastating. Jesus Christ.
