As I know my gaming tastes well—what I like and what I don’t — it’s very unusual that I bought a game I don’t want to keep. That said, an empty box is just a waste of space for me and a reminder of what I don’t really own.

When people say they're going to stop buying PS5 physical games to boycott Sony... doesn't that just give Sony even more justification to end physical disc production? I've been seeing this sentiment a lot lately and I can't help but side-eye it.

@RinoTheBouncer It was so good. The developers were passionate gamers themselves. They created their games with all the effort and resources they had at the time, wanting to release the best possible game right at launch — not in one, two, or six months.

Good news for physical game collectors, Blood of Dawnwalker will launch on September 3 with a physical Day 1 Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so you’ll be able to buy the game on disc. The Day 1 Edition includes the game, a SteelBook case, a physical world map, and a digital armor set as a bonus. A separate Collector’s Edition will feature extras like a Coen figurine and a hardcover lore book. With more games skipping physical releases, it’s nice to see another big RPG getting a disc version.

@RinoTheBouncer 100% no. In fact, I just bought a beautiful NSwitch Lite Coral for my niece yesterday. I want to introduce her to the gaming world. Her first games will be physical, and she will remember them as such. I’ll teach her to buy only from companies that respect her as a customer.

@RinoTheBouncer Steam, and maybe the NS2 if more games come out fully on cartridge. Between Xbox and PS, whichever one supports physical releases will get my money — or neither of them if they don’t.

@TheDavidVinc It is not our responsibility to like a game. We are the customers, and through our purchases we show what we enjoy and what we don’t. I already preordered the game and I really want it to be good, but the sec I see hand-holding or “for the modern audience” stuff from SE, I’m out.

He's absolutely right. If this bombs then say goodbye to traditional turn based Final Fantasy - they'll just keep doing action. This game has everything I want - a cool story, job classes, a world map, tons of sidequests, secrets, hidden areas, and an airship to go explore!

@RinoTheBouncer If it turns out to be an all-digital console, I couldn’t care less about the price — they could charge $500 for it and I still wouldn’t buy it. If it’s priced at $1000 but has physical support for both old and new games, I won’t be thrilled to pay that much, but I probably would.

@TheDavidVinc I haven’t bought an NS2 yet because game-key cards feel worse to me than full digital games. If more titles start releasing fully on higher-capacity cartridges, I’ll definitely get one before the year ends.

I've officially crossed the Arctic Circle! With this the last major geographic line that I still have to cross is the Antarctic Circle (also the only continent that I havent been to yet) but it's on the bucket list! Hopefully next year!

@isra_neytiri Me pasa algo similar. He tratado al menos dos o tres veces este finde de jugar algo en la PS5 y tan pronto la prendo la vuelvo a apagar. En mi caso no es rabia ni asco (que entiendo como completamente justificado) sino más bien apatía.

Desde la noticia de Playstation de acabar con el formato físico no puedo ni ponerme a jugar de la rabia e impotencia que siento, es encender la consola y ver el logotipo de Playstation y me da un asco tremendo y tengo que apagar la consola 😢

@gothicthegame Thank you. I’ll eagerly wait for the fix so I can resume my playthrough. Even with its issues, the Gothic Remake is the game I’ve enjoyed most this year.
