@KevinMcCurdy Yep. If they let this go, the message the NHL is sending is that they’re not going to crack down on conduct like this unless/until there’s a catastrophic injury. And if that’s the case, I hope (it’s unlikely) the NHL is held liable for gross negligence and loses a massive lawsuit

As a society we've spent millions of dollars for little stop signs for kids backs in minor hockey as a prevention measure for hits exactly like this. This is as dangerous as they come, and it's going to be telling how DoPS handles this. If they don't throw the literal book at him, the next escalation is a life altering injury for a player all because DoPS forgot what their mission statement is. This should be a suspension for close to the remainder of the season. Tick tock.
