@bruzza9 @AmorimEra_ I actually like that suggestion. You're not going to cover all problem areas in one window. You can cover 2 this window (CDM & GK), which seems to be our biggest issue so far this pre-season, instead of a ST which leaves you overrun in midfield every game & a GK who's a calamity

Alternate scenario for Manchester United: Invest the £75/80M for Sesko into a midfielder and goalkeeper. Sign Donnarrumma for £30M or Lammens for £17M and have £40-60M left for a midfielder. Sign one of Muani/Jackson/Ramos/Vlahovic on loan for a year to cover the striker position and go big the following summer.

@grantbn6 @gerryposthumus He played for the Northerns Amateur side for years and always did well- represented PHSOB & Tuks at club level. Feel that CSA missed the boat with him. Seriously talented cricketer and even better person.

@gerryposthumus 6/95 I don't know what happened after school. Disappeared for a while. Heard it may have been a personal tragedy.

Not a bad Gauteng U19 side. De Kock, Conway , Shamsi all playing in tonight's SA20 game. Along with Bavuma, D Hendricks & Hume. Deeb left the game early after playing First-Class.

@grantbn6 That Northerns side is 🔥 too. GVB is the current Gloucestershire red ball captain. Richards played SA under 19 a& then moved to 🇦🇺. Mofokeng played SA under 19s too and played for the Titans& Knights. Mothoa still plays for the Warriors. Nairobi captained the Northerns Amateurs.

@Ayanda_tso Average of nearly 35 at a strike rate of 130. Mainly played in experimental sides, other than a big series. Can’t say you’d get many buyers 📖 Top 6 of just firepower? Seems to be working really well for RCB. Often comes down to relying on one person after losing early wickets.

@Ayanda_tso Reeza hasn’t been consistent enough at international level to warrant an inclusion in the conversation about building an innings around. First it was drop in average, now it’s being leg side dominant. If it comes down to average, Rassie is the 2nd name on that team sheet.

@DanBrits87 I think we have enough experience in that team as all of Markram,Reeza,Miller,Klaasen and Quinny have WC experience and I watched Rassie score 100s in both the PSL and SA20 however Rassie’s game is predominantly leg side whereas all the batsman in that team are good all round

@Ayanda_tso You’re referring to a T20 World Cup lineup. I’m sure that you’ve heard the saying “Form is temporary, class is permanent”. He’s gone to 2 ODI World Cups and a T20 World Cup. Experience is massive at tournaments like that… Did you follow him in the PSL this year?

@DanBrits87 Nope,Rassie has been dropping form wise in both white ball formats. He averaged around 70 at the start of last year in ODIs,what’s his average now?

@Ayanda_tso Need batters to build an innings around, regardless of the format. You lose 2 or 3 quick wickets with that lineup of yours and your back is immediately against the wall. Sure, it might pay off occasionally and you can score 240 but the reality is that won’t always happen.

@Ayanda_tso Agree to disagree, boss. Rassie’s been our most consistent white ball batter over the last 2 years. Has the ability to build an innings and accelerate towards the back end or go at a SR of 150 from the get go. You’ve only got firepower which is exactly RCB’s issue at the moment.

I find it quite interesting that Stubbs aren't a lot of peoples first choice for a T20 WC spot especially after the season he's having. Personally I think he should be there and I think Rob will most probably select him. But why's so many ppl not feeling him?? #CricketTwitter

Reliable sources confirm #MUFC's genuine interest in signing Amadou Onana, a versatile 6/8 hybrid player seen as an ideal partner for Kobbie Mainoo: - He's in the 100th percentile for duels won this season. - Onana's athleticism and ground-covering ability will help Man Utd's defence during transitions. - Standing at 6ft5, he brings much-needed height to the team. - A top ball winner, coupled with underrated technical skills. - Onana has proven he can play as a deep midfielder in build-up, effectively breaking lines, - His traits allow him to play as a 6/8, enabling Kobbie to push up and utilize his passing range or to be a ball-winning 8 while Kobbie drops back. - At 22, Onana possesses the 'PnP' quality urgently sought by Man Utd. His physical and technical abilities allow him to adapt to various game states. - Has the ability to break lines, progress the ball, and retain possession under pressure, Onana brings a well-rounded skill set to the team. Also been a standout player, in a much improved Everton side this season.
