Paris, Texas is unlike any film I’ve ever seen. It’s a visual masterpiece with so much soul. Wim Wenders is now 80 years old & still making movies, but I’m not sure he’s ever done anything better than this film. And shoutout to my guy Harry Dean Stanton- an actor’s actor.

No, he’s actually reading Scripture with enormous ideological blinders on. He’s not reading it according to what the authors intended. Rather, he forces Scripture onto a Procrustean bed of woke ideology and breaks off the parts that don’t fit.
